Automotive Specialty Products
Automotive specialty products includes painting, tuning, coating, molding, forging, castings, and other allied products needed in repairing, upgrading and maintaining automobiles. These OEM products used by automobiles are not the part of automotive industry but these are the crucial products without which automobiles can not be manufactured.
Different Types of Automotive Specialty Products

Automobile Sheet Metal Components Automotive Coatings Automotive Castings
Automotive Dies and Moulds Automotive Forgings Automotive Trailers
Tractors/ Truck Parts

Automobile Sheet Metal Components are basically the rolled metal pieces or strips especially created for building the body of automobiles like car, airplane, scooter, motorcycle, truck etc. Automobile metal sheets are mostly made of aluminum, copper, steel, copper, nickel, titanium and brass. These metal sheets can be molded, folded, fabricated, stretched, and shaped easily into any form. The bodies of automobiles are manufactured using sheet metal components that are attached to each other either through welding or adhesives.
Some of the important tools that are used for creating bodies of vehicle are:

Automotive Coatings
Automotive Coatings are the chemicals, which are used as a protective or decorative coating over the body of an automobile. To be more precise, automotive paints are the substances comprising of solid coloring matter which are mixed in a liquid medium and then applied over the surface of a vehicle. Resin, pigment and solvent are the three major substrates of paint. Paints used for automobiles are of several types like water-based paints, metallic paints, non-metallic paints, heat and chemical resistant paints, acrylic paints, fire resistant paints etc.
For painting the automobiles, a wide array of tools and equipment are used like:

Automotive Castings Under this process, metals in a fluid or liquid state are poured into a mold and once they are hardened and solidified then they are used further for forming different types of components. The automotive parts formed with the help of casting process are sub-frames, knuckles, cradles, brackets, swing arms, control arms, cross members and other safety critical components. Die-casting, Sand casting and aluminum casting are three commonly used casting processes for the automobiles.

Automotive Dies and Moulds
Automotive dies are the tools that are used for cutting, shaping and forming an assorted range of products, components and parts of automobiles. Dies used for creating automotive parts can be customized according to the specific requirements. Moulds are the containers in which molten metal is poured to form a solidified shape of a desired component. Moulds are used in die casting process to form a final product.

In this process, metal is formed by heating it in a forge and then hammering into desired shape. This process is extremely useful and advantageous when the components of required shape cannot be manufactured by casting process. The automotive products manufactured with the help of forging process include rods, shafts, axles, pinions, levers and other linkage parts.

Automotive Forgings

Automotive Trailers
Automotive Trailers are the large transport vehicles, which are pulled or dragged forcibly by a truck or tractor. These trailers can either be opened or enclosed. A standard automotive trailer comes fully equipped with road lights, hydraulic brakes, and automatic rear door latches.
Automotive trailers comprises of various parts such as:

Tractor/ Truck parts include all those devices, equipment or spare tools used in assembling, maintaining, repairing, and servicing trucks or tractors. Most of the parts of tractors and trucks are made up of metals like aluminum, iron, brass, copper, steel, stainless steel, carbon steel and other metals.
The different types of tractor/ truck parts are:
